Safeguarding

At Sevenus Swimming, your child’s safety and wellbeing are our highest priority.

We follow UK safeguarding law and best practice to ensure every child enjoys swimming in a safe, caring and professionally supervised environment. We ensure this in the following ways;

  • All staff are qualified, insured and enhanced-DBS checked.
  • Every team member completes safeguarding, first-aid and pool-safety training.
  • Physical contact between instructors and swimmers is kept to a minimum and used only in a safe, considered manner to support each child’s individual learning needs and wellbeing.
  • Parents and carers can observe lessons live via our secure CCTV system, ensuring safety, transparency and privacy for all swimmers.
  • Instructors have separate changing facilities and are not permitted in child or parent changing areas when in use.
  • CCTV operates throughout our facility to support safeguarding, security and health and safety. Footage is monitored and stored in accordance with data protection law.
  • Any unsafe or inappropriate behaviour is challenged immediately and reported to management.
