Our Regatta level includes swim levels 8, 9 and 10, and is our final stage, preparing swimmers for club entry or lifelong confident swimming. Training focuses on precision, stamina, and mastery of all four strokes — the proud culmination of their swimming journey.
The Regatta level is the final stage of the development journey, preparing pupils for entry into swim clubs and equivalent to Swim England Level 7. Swimmers now train for one hour, focusing on precision, technique, and control of all four strokes.
Building on everything learned previously, pupils work to perfect their stroke efficiency, body alignment, and timing, developing the stamina and consistency needed for longer distances. Emphasis is placed on technique, with advanced drills designed to enhance starts, turns, breathing patterns, and overall stroke quality.
The Regatta Level celebrates the completion of a structured learning pathway, producing swimmers who are technically proficient, strong, and confident, ready to progress into club swimming, take a different path into another water-based activity, or simply enjoy being skilled swimmers for life, knowing they have solid, strong foundations.
Reaching the final Level 10 of the Regatta is, for many of our pupils and families, the culmination of years of dedication, discipline, and skill development — a truly remarkable achievement.
Classes run 6:30pm–7:30pm on weekdays only, with a maximum of seven swimmers per session.
